Breast implant surgery has two sides

Breast implant surgery is usually successful. Most of us know someone to the left or right of us that has had cosmetic breast surgery or some other similar procedure. And so we too want that beautiful look. It's a natural reaction.

But that's not what we're here to discuss. It's what you don't know that what will hurt you, as the saying goes. And that's what I'm going to reveal, the most common breast augmentation risks you should be aware of.

I'm also going to give you an alternative instead of leaving you with frustration and no hope. And I need to tell you right now that it's our solution. It's been giving us girls what they want for almost fourteen years, defying breast surgeries.

Breast implant surgery surprises

Just because breast implant surgery falls into the elective surgical category, and you're in and out of the hospital within the day, doesn't make it safe. Even with the top breast surgeons, the procedure can be risky. And not to scare you out of doing it (because your body is your choice), but women who get breast implants are three-fold more likely to commit suicide than if they never had them. Something to think about, isn't it?

Blood-related ones

Some of the more common concerns when considering breast plastic surgery starts with having an allergic reaction to the anesthesia. General anesthesia generally causes more reactions than local anesthesia, so find out which one you would need.

Excessive bleeding is another big problem to watch out for after breast implant surgery. Pooling blood is a term used to describe bleeding that is not under control. It often requires being cut open again to drain properly.

Other blood issues include: hematoma, clotted blood; seroma, a pocket filled with plasma; and thrombosis, a clot deep in the vein.

You could also lose feeling in your nipples and the skin over your breasts following breast surgeries.

Avoiding infection

An implant surgeon will tell you that postoperative infection mainly occurs within the first four to six weeks after surgery. Although staph is a common one, more serious infections could mean having an implant removed to treat the situation.

The approach that helps to prevent most of them is to have patients wash their breasts with special antibacterial soap before surgery to get rid of any potential staph that may enter the incision area. It's like going to the doctor and watching them wash their hands, or use that anti-bacterial soap before meeting a new patient.

Implant problems

Implants can deflate. They can also leak slowly without noticing it for awhile or they can suddenly burst. And over time they can wear down like any man-made object. An MRI is needed to detect a leaking implant. A deflated one can be seen easily as you can imagine.

Shifting implants could cause ripples and skin indentations which is pretty common. Bottoming out is another term to explain that not enough tissue is available to support the implant. Both problems almost always end in with the implant surgeon removing or correcting it through surgery.

Consider the alternatives

Most of the time, you can get breast implant surgery with very few problems. But as you can see they do exist, many of which you may have not thought about before I brought them to your attention.

I also mentioned that natural enlargement pills offer a way to enlarge breasts and get that perky look through firming process. The most important consideration is safety. No known side-effects have been documents, but lots of bigger breasts have been.

In fact you can usually increase one cup size for every three months you follow the program with lasting results. This is the average growth, so you understand the results can be a little less or more depending on the persons make-up. And let's not forget the cost advantage over breast surgeries.

So while I support your right to have breast implant surgery, I also want you to understand that you have a natural alternative that works.
