Let’s face it, if you are a woman of any age living in a developed nation there is tremendous pressure to have a “normal breast size.” Without this normal breast size women are told they are not sexy, not feminine, not sexually attractive and not good enough. Big breasts are portrayed as the ultimate symbol of womanhood, fertility and sexuality and this is drilled into every person’s consciousness that is exposed to the media.
Movie stars and models with breast implants are marketed in movies, magazines, catalogs and television shows. The culture of celebrity, as seen on television and reality-based cosmetic surgery television shows, make surgery look easy, happy and socially acceptable. One woman who was interviewed in Brazil said, “To have small breasts is a social stigma and having breast implants is better than being small breasted.” Clearly the breast implant social programming has spread to most corners of the earth, having a normal breast size has become the curse of “living with small breasts.”
Young girls are getting breast implants while still in high school and not yet finished developing. Why? Because they have been convinced through social engineering that they are defective and unattractive, their self esteem is so low they feel they need breast implants at 16 or 17 years old to look socially acceptable. Women with A and B cup sized breasts are made to feel they are “small breasted” despite the fact that a normal breast size for the average women is a 36B.
A “normal” female breast today is now defined as a C cup or larger. Where did this new breast size standard develop? Why are women and men being told that an A or B cup sizes breast is substandard, deficient, defective and unattractive?
With the advent of television, padded bras and movie stars in Hollywood larger breasts became in vogue. Actresses’ chests were plumped up with falsies; Howard Hughes invented the torpedo bra. Today the padded bra is the number one selling bra in the United States. Breast implants were invented in 1976 and have been fueled by tremendous profits, you can watch the movie “Breast Men” to learn the about the history of breast implants.
If women are made to see that a normal breast is a C or D cup most women will either feel bad and get surgery or live with small breasts unhappily. Very few women are really happy with their breast size. Paris Hilton was made fun of by the media for having small breasts, her response was, “I am perfect the way I am.” The media then they made fun of her for her statement, as if she said something wrong for standing up for herself.
Some women become famous simply because they have large breast implants. Many women were getting nowhere in their modeling and acting careers and once they got implants they became celebrities. What kind of message does this send a young woman in puberty about her body and breast size? The message is effective, breast implants sales continue to rise year after year.
Women get so upset about their breast size that they risk infection, auto immune diseases and anesthesia and undergo multiple surgeries throughout their lifetimes.
After interviewing hundreds of women over the last ten years these are the top reasons we have heard:
- My breasts are too small, I don’t measure up to other women who all seem to have C or D cup breasts.
- I got divorced I am dating again.
- I don’t like the way I look naked or in clothes.
- My breasts shrunk after having children.
- I do not feel feminine enough.
- I am tired of wearing padded bras.
- I get more attention with larger breasts.
- Men like larger breasts.
A fact most men fail to understand is there are hundreds of thousands of women who are psychologically damaged and suffering from depression and insecurity because they feel ugly the way God made them.
In 2006, 360,000 U.S. women had breast implants surgically augmented in their bodies in the US alone. In 1998, according to the plastic surgeons’ society, 132,378 U.S. women had their breasts artificially enlarged, fewer than half as many women who had the operation in 2005. Approximately 40,000 US women had their implants removed.
